Our below fees assume that the family of the departing student hosts a foreign exchange student. Also, the listed prices are before any given scholarship or special reduction. If you wish to be eligible for a scholarship, please visit our scholarship page. Please read, below the prices, the inclusions, exclusions and our cancelation policy. Cheques must be sent to our National Office: STS Student Exchange, 37-1010 Polytek Street, Ottawa, ON. K1J 9J2. All our fees are in Canadian dollars and are tax-exempted. Fees are subject to change without prior notice.

Preparation courses are only open to students going on exchange to the specific country. The cost of this optional trip is $1450.
Cancelation PolicyThe application fee is non-refundable. It is only refundable if STS decides not to accept the student after interview or if STS cancels the program. All cancellations must be received by registered mail. Prior to March 1st (for fall departures) and August 1st (for spring departures), CA$1800 of the Program fee is retained. Between March 1st and June 30th (for fall departures) or between August 1st and October 31st (for spring departures), 50 % of the program fee is retained. As from July 1st (for fall departures) and November 1st (for spring departures), 75 % of the program fee is retained. No refund is offered after the departure date.
Cancelation InsuranceWhatever your reason is, our cancelation Insurance will cover it. Its cost is $500 and must be paid with the first payment. With it, you benefit from the following negotiated cancelation policy: The cancelation insurance and the application fee are non-refundable. They are only refundable if STS decides not to accept the student after interview or if STS cancels the program. All cancelations must be received by registered mail. Prior to April 1st (fall departures) and before September 1st (spring departures), you can cancel and have zero percent of the Program fee retained. Between April 1st and June 30th (for fall departures) or between September 1st and October 31st (for spring departures), CA$1,300 of the program fee is retained. As from July 1st (Fall departures) and December 1st (Spring departures), 50 % of the program fee is retained. No refund is offered after the departure date.
